Baytna Baytak started as a civil initiative launched by a dynamic and forward thinking community of activists to help secure housing for healthcare professionals working at the forefront of the fight against the Covid19 pandemic no matter their religion, sect, gender or nation of origin.
In the wake of the tragic Beirut blast, Baytna Baytak’s enlarged its mission to support emerging needs and response efforts from repairing and restoring houses to covering minor, moderate or even severe damages.(e.g. Window and aluminum frame failure, wood panels and doors damaged, house structures, heritage buildings, etc.
The Current Stage
Baytna Baytak is now a registered NGO. The beehive operation is simultaneously managing the rebuilding of damaged houses and providing housing for displaced citizens and healthcare workers.
